ABOUT
The name The Scandinavian Sound was created when I was ironing clothes. Yes, exactly, ironing clothes. As an avid music fan, the Scandinavian music scene has stood out among the rest. From the songs I saved in my Spotify playlist I realized most artist are actually from the Scandinavian, if not, Nordic region. In fact, many of the classical mainstream pop songs, from Backstreet Boys to Britney Spears to Katy Perry; are the brain child of Max Martin, a Swedish. That's when it caught my curiousity and decided to dive in and learn more about the Scandinavian music scene.
This blog is created mainly to dedicate and share my love for good Scandinavian music that might be overlook by most people. It does not review music chronologically. I hope that by jumping on the bandwagon of blogs promoting underrated artist, my passion and effort can contribute to letting more good Scandinavian music be heard.
