KADIE ELDER - FIRST TIME HE KISSED A BOY

First post from my experimental blog and I have decided to dedicate to this Danish duo named Kadie Elder. Eversince I started this blog my mind has this image of their song that captivated my musical sense and soul. Indeed, I am talking about their 2014 single "First Time He Kissed a Boy".
Having being a major fan of electro pop and Scandinavian pop (hence this blog), it's hard not to include this addictive tune into my catalog of my favourite songs. In fact, if my playlist has a ranking chart, this song easily place in the top 20 or top 10.
The first moment I heard this song was when Spotify curated into my Discover Weekly playlist. In the midst of zombifying myself with studies in the middle of the night, this song was a breath of fresh air that, I dare say, brought me back to life. At 2am, I remember getting super psyched about it; besides telling everyone I know that appreciates such good music, I shared the song on Facebook, liked their Facebook page, followed them on Spotify...as if I'm their PR or something.
One day after stumbling upon the instrumental version of "First Time He Kissed a Boy", I commented on the video about what inspired these folks to create those addictive hooks. To my surprise, I got a reply from the band (best thing happened to me that day) with a YouTube link.

Extra kudos to Kadie Elder for making its music video LGBT-themed, proves that boy-boy kiss can be romantic AF. Here's to many more great music from this talented group. Cheers!
