ASTRID S - 2AM (MATOMA REMIX)

You might know Astrid S and Matoma's collaboration in "Running Out", but that is not their first time working together. Before that, there was this remix of Astrid S's "2AM" by Matoma.

Matoma spinned on "2AM" with his signature tropical house sound but with a darker shade. It's pretty much in the middle in the sense that the original version sounds darker and space-like but Matoma's tropical house spin gives it a lighter dancey beats.

On the other hand, in comparison to a typical tropical house mix, this remix exudes a slightly darker vibe. Maybe it's the nature of the song itself. Nevertheless, it is still a well remixed song and probably even better than the original mix in my opinion. The strings composed hook is definitely the highlight of this remix.
