SKINNY DAYS - IN A GOOD WAY

Thanks to "In A Good Way" it introduced me to Skinny Days. Originating from Norway, Dag Holtan-Hartwig and Halvor Folstad is an electro house duo who met in England. Before this song, Skinny Days' work are more dramatic and inclined towards electro house music. Particularly, "Alright Right Now" reminds me of the 2015 hit "I'm an Albatroz".


In 2016, Skinny Days took a slightly different approach with "In A Good Way". With its trumpet instrumentals and background choir, "In A Good Way" is a very laid back kick with skippy beats that ultimately still give you a "I'm fucked up but I'm still good" kind of chill. It's hard not to compare a similarity of musicality to the likes of Gym Class Heroes.


If you ever feel like in despair, this song is probably a good choice to keep the mood light, because we're all "fucked up, in a good way."
